ODI at Marina Beach!

ODI in Chennai...
It is the most expected match which had been schduled on Nov22nd.I also got the ticket for watching the match thro my company. We are all eagerly waiting for the day with same colored T.shirs and caps. The day also came...But our badluck rain also came for playing in the chepak ground. The roaring indian team's schduled match got abandoned bcoz of the nature's visit. The lovable rain got the curse of 50,000 audience.

I was there at the stadium first time in my life just for 10 min. While the camera was capturing the audience there was an amazing chorus came from all the audience. It was really a sensational moment for me.
Once the match abandoned, noone has the mind to leave of the stadium. Their eyes and allkeep on searching for their favourite cricket stars. But none of the indian players have come. Its a total disappointment.
While going outside, we were able to look at the charts depicting that "ODI in Chennai...It is the most expected match which had been schduled on Nov22nd.I also got the ticket for watching the match thro my company. We are all eagerly waiting for the day with same colored T.shirs and caps. The day also came...But our badluck rain also came for playing in the chepak ground. The roaring indian team's schduled match got abandoned bcoz of the nature's visit. The lovable rain got the curse from the 50,000 audience.

With an upset mood we all left the stadium. But slowly we changed up our mind and all of my collegueshad a plan for going to marina to play cricket. My company MD was so much eager and he asked us to buy the bat and balls.
We went to the beach and splited into groups and played cricket joyfully. To watch our ODI match there was a huge crowd. Atleast we entertained them through our match...".

Bachelor's Paradise...

One fine day my project manager assigned few jobs for our team. To withstand the sudden shock we planned to go for a movie to forget the sad incident. But we reached the theatre so late...our bad luck ticket counter was closed.
One our friend is staying in triplicane and he told that the mess food is really good over there. Somehow we convinced him to bear the expense for the dinner. We had so many items over there, the dishes were really delicious and I haven’t found that much taste in star hotels. During the dinner, my friend told me the specialties of triplicane.
"Where are u staying?" If u ask this question to 50 bachelors in chennai 30 would say triplicane. Its a paradise for the bachelors. Chennai is the dream city for the people who want to come up (to get the good exposure) in their life. People who come up with the film dreams tirelessly knock out the doors of kodambakkam. They end up living in the rooms of kodambakkam. Apart from that, people who come up for other purposes will stay at kodambakkam mansions.
Triplicane is one of the major hearts of the city. It connects the important places in and around chennai. The rooms are available for the affordable rates for the bachelors. The deposit amount is also very less. It is the place which has beach for relaxation and good food for reasonable rates. Each and every mess has its own reputation in the quality and quantity of their food. The competition among the hotels drifts them to provide the quality food. The owners of the mess also are coming from different cities of tamilnadu for earing more profit. So u can taste all different styles of food like Madurai, karaikudi etc. People who are earning Rs.6000 per month can manage their life without any problems.
After the long discussion about triplicane, the server showed the bill. The bill amount was very less as u expected though we had non-veg items also. Really it is a paradise for the bachelors...

True Gladiators

This is dedicated to all the married uncles. Recently, few of my collegues got married. i can apparently watch lot of changes in their life style. Bcoz i observed them before their marriage. But now i am hearing lot of strange stories and grumbles from them. All those things, enthralled me to narrate their hardhearted life in a creative style. So this article truly based on my own imagination. As a young guy, I may not know the holiness of the married life. So don't misunderstand that I am criticizing the married life.
Who is the real Gladiator? Russell crowe. No!
Basically each and every married man is a gladiator in their life. Marriage, I would say it is a fantasy, where all the males were pushed up as scapegoats. As a man, he knows about the weapons like Sword, Dagger, Missiles etc. But after marriage he has to face entirely different kind of weapons like Poori kattai, Dosa karandi. But if u see before marriage, a guy waits for day and night to speak with a girl. U may think that he has an affection with the girl. Shortly, "Jollu viduranu nennaipeenga". Really that is not happening. As a brave hearted person, he himself with full of courage, getting ready for the war.

In the war(i.e After marriage), Somehow he could manage the weapons like poorikattai. Though he faced such kind of weapons, he cannot handle the non stop loud speaker(wife).
No one concluded that a man overcame a woman in a dispute. Once his wife starts her argument, he has to surrender himself to her. The above stated facts are going to offer him, all sort of punishments in a lovely manner by his life partner. The outsiders will think that the commando(life partner) is a kind person.
But really this is what happening in the war...
1. Whether he wants or not 4 carriers for his lunch. If he try to keep something in the box, Evening he has to face a mini world war.
2. Sharp 9'o clock attendance will be taken in the (prison) house. His attendance is the must. If he fails, Kissan jam may come out of his head.
3.He planned for a budget of Rs.5000 for his shopping. But his new boss can burst his credit card by making Rs.5000 to Rs.50000.
Whether a man wins or not, he is forced to fight till the end of his life ("Romba kastum"). Its really amazing.
So i want to salute all the gladiators, On behalf of all the bachelors(Future gladiators).

Anna University--Under Musharaff????

The most prestigious institution Anna university has taken disciplinary action for its affiliated institutions.

Ban on cellphones and few restrictions on dress codes. Moreover film based cultural events also restricted. It got a good response from the parents. But from the eyes of the teenagers hot stones were coming out(to break the Vice-Chancellor's head).

All over india, if we consider tamil people are having more faith on their traditional values. Though the western culture invaded into india, the people are following their traditional ethics. To retain that, this sudden (military)step was taken by the university.

At the beginning i thought it is good kind of action. But if u see the western countries, the clothes do not have enough guts to cover thier physical structure. Y should we go there, If u see Bangalore or Delhi the culture is entirely different. Y is there a partiality for the tamilnadu college students?
A 18 year old guy or gal is having the rights to choose the president for their country. Dont they have the rights to choose their own dressing style. Basically this situtation should change.

Some unsavory events might happened, like Delhi school MMS issue. Those are some exceptional cases. Due to these kind of cases, they should not go for this stupid kind of action. Not only this, film based cultural events are also banned. Then what will they do in the cultural events. Do they dance for the Thiyagaraja bhagavadhar songs? (Nadha...Nadha..Nanne..Vanden).
Life is full of Terror
In school, Preparation for the public examinations.
After marriage, all of u know, another terror in the form wife and kids.
Between the both college life is coming like an oasis or we can say it as a heaven.
Full of fun, games, love etc.
At least let them to enjoy in the middle of the both. Allow their hormones to breath for some time. What you people think of this? Post your comments.

(------Siruseri------>Silicon Valley?????------)

All of us know that chennai is going to become a next Silicon Valley after bangalore. After sholinganallur another IT park is going to be constructed at Siruseri which is nearby to the Kancheepuram district. The main thing is the plot values in those areas are increasing day by day at Siruseri.

Most of the IT companies are extending its operation away from the heart of the city. For example if we take siruseri it is 30Kms apart from the city. Now a days it became a real panic for the software employees. Eventhough they provide the transport facility the software people, they need to spend more than 2 hours for their transportation. So my point is like, if they start the companies nearby the cities it would help the employees to reduce their stress as well as the employees can spend more time with their families and friends.

Let us see the details about few facts and the upcoming IT companies in siruseri.State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (SIPCOT) is a State owned Financial and Development Institution incorporated under the company's Act 1956 in the year 1971-72. SIPCOT is instrumental in making Tamil Nadu one of the most industrially developed States of the country for the past 28 years and extended valuable services. SIPCOT is going to construct the IT park in siruseri.

Tata Consultancy Services has acquired 70-acres of land at a cost of about Rs.13 crore at the new IT Park at Siruseri near Chennai. The company announced plans to scale up its manpower here from 5,000 now, to 7,500 in the next two to three years, and to 10,000 in an year from that.
This is the largest project attracted by the Siruseri park of 1,000 Acres, which is being developed by the State-owned SIPCOT. Already, Xansa of UK had acquired 27.36 acres. Besides, Infosys had requested 30 acres for expanding its Chennai operations.

ELCOT is the operating agency for Electronic Hardware Technology Park (EHTP) scheme in Tamilnadu. ELCOT has 27 joint/Associate companies in areas of components, consumer electronics, communication equipment, power electronics systems, software development. infrastructure development etc. The emphasis in the years to come will be in the following areas:

# Create infrastructure for software development at Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai and Trichy.
# Encourage Tamilnadu companies to globalise their operations to meet the demands of economy.
# Encourage global companies to relocate their operations in Tamilnadu and to start their new manufacturing divisions in Tamilnadu.# Encourage joint venture initiatives in leading edge technologies.
# Reversal of brain Drain.

Sizzling ONAM

Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala is celebrated during August/September every year. Keralites from all over the world travel to their native land to celebrate this festival as it is an occasion of pomp and merriment derived from gathering with family members and friends.
It is an unusual festival, in the sense that it reveres the memory of a local demon king, Mahabali, who was ousted from his kingdom by Lord Vishnu. So attached was the king to his country and subjects, that he asked for and was granted permisssion to return once a year. Onam is considered to be the day when the king returns to his kingdom.

Onam celebrations which last ten days begin with a colourful reception to King Mahabali. Mahabali is supposed to visit his kingdom on the 2nd day, which is the most important day of the festival.

Earthen mounds, which look somewhat like square pyramids, representing Mahabali and Vishnu are placed in the dung-plastered courtyards and beautifully decorated with flowers. The legend is believed to have happened at Trikkakara, a place 10km from Cochin on the Edapally- Pookattupadi road which according to mythology was the legendary capital of King Mahabali. The temple here, is the only temple in Kerala with the deity of 'Trikkakara Appan' or 'Vamanamurthy' who is Lord Vishnu himself in disguise
Apart from the mythological reason for Onam, it is a festival after the new harvest, when the coffers are abundant with grains and crops ready to sell and eat. The greenery throughout is magnificent. After working under the scorching sun of April and with flood waters of July and August the farmers heave a sigh of relief upon seeing the green lands.

Onam is celebrated by one and all irrespective of caste and creed. The well-to-do donate liberally to the poor as the feeling is that no one should go hungry during Onam. The festival spreads over a period of ten days starting from ‘Attham’ in Chingam, the first month in the Malayalam era.

Fine attire, sumptuous food and a pleasant ambiance are the hallmark of Onam. Houses are cleaned thoroughly and decorated aesthetically with flower petals of all colours and shades arranged in various designs. Children compete with each other in making ‘Pookkalam’ and the eldest in the family gives a prize for the best flower arrangement during the ten days. The eldest member also has to provide new clothes for all to wear on the special day of Onam.

Onam is never complete, as no occasion ever is, without a fabulous feast called Ona Sadya. Payasams, fried items and other dishes of South India are prepared besides Kerala’s specialties, ‘Aviyal’ and ‘Kalan’. Sitting together, and enjoying Ona Sadya served on plantain leaves amidst fun and frolic are pleasant memories Keralites cherish life long. Perhaps no other occasion can provides such camaraderie.
Sports, games and cultural programmes are inseparable with Onam festivities. While women folk engage in Kaikottikkali, Margamkali, Mohiniyattam and other classical and folk dances, men folk engage in Kolkali, Pulikali, Parichamuttukali and Akshraslokam. Processions with decorated elephants and floats depicting mythological scenes and architectural elegance accompanied by Panchavadyam, Nagaswaram, Thayambaka, etc. are an integral part of Onam celebrations.
Houses are cleaned and floral decorations put up to welcome the beloved ruler. A highlight of the celebrations is the famous Vallamkali-Snake Boat Race held at Arunmula in Central Travancore.
Onam is all that and more… Onam is all about happiness, prosperity and joy… Onam is all about the feelings… Something that goes above the barriers of caste , religion and wealth.

Child Labour

Sir..Pl sir..Oru packet vangikanga sir...
If anybody come across the shops behind Pondybazar you might have heared that voice. This is what happened while i was purchasing in that area. They are all one kind of child labours, begging us to get rid off their hunger. Let us try to help them in some way like making donation to the orphanages. We can rescue their devastating smile...

We are guilty of many errors and many faults,
But our worst crime is abandoning the children,
Neglecting the fountain of life.
Many of things we need can wait,
The child cannot wait.

Right now is the time his bones are being formed,
His blood is being made,

And his senses are being developed.
To him we cannot answer "Tomorrow",

His name is "Today"
